PHILOSOPHY

As a Christian educational institution, CCSA believes that the academe is on of the pillars of society that has a major influence on the development of a child. It adopts the philosophy of Proverbs 9:10 that states: "The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." and Proverbs 22:6 that says: "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it."

CCSA is a leading Christ-centered educational institution that provides quality, holistic and innovative learning in a nurturing environment. As a beacon of light, CCSA envisions producing globally-competitive servant-leaders who have the passion for academic excellence, character development and social responsibility.

 

MISSION

CCSA commits to educate learners for excellence in learning, character and spiritual formation, and social and environmental stewardship.

 

GOALS

  1. To honor God in all aspects of the school program.
  2. To provide quality K to 12 curriculum with a strong foundation in Science, Math, English, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan.
  3. To inculcate in students the Christian Values, Christ-like character and a passion for excellence.
  4. To provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment conducive to learning that develops the skills and abilities of the students (arts, music, sports, language, drama, etc).
  5. To develop the spirit of inquiry, critical thinking, interest and skills in research.
  6. To educate for responsible citizenship, servant-leadership and stewardship of the environment.
  7. To enhance awareness of and responsiveness to social issues at the local, national and global perspective.
  8. To provide and develop competent and caring faculty and staff.
  9. To provide state-of-the-art learning facilities.
  10. To make a growing sense of community and partnership/collaboration among the Board of Trustees, school administration, faculty and staff, parents, alumni and students.

 

OBJECTIVES

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Unit

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Unit aims to achieve the following objectives that the child:

  1. Develop Christ-like character as they grow and experience the love and knowledge of God.
  2. Develop positive self-esteem, love for learning and mutual respect for others by inculcating life skills through active and hands-on experiences.
  3. Understand oneself and show peace, love, fairness, etc. in relating with other people especially to their family and community.
  4. Develop communication skills and provide opportunities for effective practice.
  5. Develop work, health, and good habits.
  6. Achieve development in all competencies required by Department of Education.
  7. Develop literacy, numeracy, writing and awareness through a variety of carefully selected and meaningful experiences considering his/her interests and capabilities.
  8. Be provided with center -based learning experiences that caters to self-creative expression.
  9. Be provided with joy-filled classroom that includes play, age appropriate materials, stress-free and emotionally safe environment for children.
  10. Develop love and respect for country.

 

Grade School (GS) Department

The Grade School (GS) Department aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Integrate Christian values in all subjects and school activities.
  2. Provide quality, holistic, and innovative learning experiences aligned with the K to 12 ready for Junior High School.
  3. Provide real-life situations, laboratory activities and research that promote critical thinking leading to problem-solving.
  4. Promote experiences that consider individual interests and differences.
  5. Promote care and protection of the environment.
  6. Uphold the rights of the children and make them aware of their responsibilities.
  7. Promote love of country and appreciate diversity in Philippine culture in the local, regional and national level.
  8. Provide opportunities for service learning through community involvement.
  9. Strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in the education of their children.

 

Junior High School (JHS) Department

The Junior High School (JHS) Department is committed to provide its students with Christ-centered quality education, intended to nurture and prepare them for Senior High School. Specifically, the Junior High School Department aims to:

  1. Promote integration of spirituality in classroom learning experience and alternative class activities;
  2. Train students to become mature and responsible individuals who internalize self-discipline, social graces, patriotism and leadership while upholding and practicing the Christian values;
  3. Develop students holistically with 21st century skills to ensure student's optimum development with an attitude responsive to the realization of local, regional and national goals;
  4. Teach mandarin Chinese Language to the students as an enrichment to the Basic Education Curriculum;
  5. Uphold a nurturing environment where students love to learn life skills in partnership with parents;
  6. Guide students in their academic, personal-social, and career development in Junior High School;
  7. Promote social awareness and involve the students in service learning;
  8. Develop the students' individual potentials in co-curricular learning experiences;
  9. Support the classroom learning experiences with Information and Communication Technology (ICT); and
  10. Enhance the proficiency of the faculty and staff in line with their specialization for them to deliver quality instruction.

 

Senior High School (SHS) Department

The Senior High School (SHS) Department, in line with the K-12 program, aims to produce graduates who are equipped with appropriate skills, knowledge and character needed for higher education, middle-level skills development employment and entrepreneurship. Particularly, the SHS department aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Promote Christ-centered learning inside and outside the classroom.
  2. Develop students holistically with 21st century skills and competencies needed in their field of specialization.
  3. Enhance the teaching of core, applied and specialized subjects with the inclusion of Mandarin language.
  4. Provide a safe and growing environment for students to exercise their God-given gifts, talents and abilities.
  5. Provide students with opportunity to develop servant-leadership, initiative and creativity needed in facing real-life situations.
  6. Strengthen research, innovation and inquiry-based learning.
  7. Promote Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integration in teaching-learning process.
  8. Provide avenue for teachers to develop their skills, potentials and abilities in their field of specialization.
  9. Enhance community partnership/linkages to align teaching with the present need of the community in order to help meet these needs.
  10. Promote appreciation for Filipino culture, tradition and values, responsible citizenship and environmental stewardship.

 

Office of the Student Affairs and Student Services (OSASS)

The Office of the Student Affairs and Student Services (OSASS) is responsible for all programs or activities concerning student welfare, development and discipline to improve the quality of student life in CCSA. To realize such, the OSASS gives full support on two areas: Student Affairs which deals with the different programs and activities to enhance student growth and development and Student Services which deal with the support services given to the students. The following are its objectives:

  1. Form and develop socially-responsible students and service-oriented leaders equipped with Christian values.
  2. Mold and strengthen the spiritual and character formation of the students.
  3. Hone the multi-intelligences of the students to aid in their holistic growth and development.
  4. Immerse students in service-learning experiences that would enhance their social awareness and responsibility.
  5. Promote social graces during out-of-the-classroom activities.
  6. Provide a nurturing environment for students to maintain physical wellness and emotional well-being.
  7. Promote awareness on students' rights and responsibilities to instill self-discipline and respect towards the rules, authorities and fellow students.
  8. Strengthen collaboration and communication with internal and external partners in continuously improving the school's student support services.
  9. Heighten the capabilities of the OSASS personnel in delivering and conducting innovative and efficient services.
  10. Assess the effectiveness of the various OSASS programs at the end of the school year and develop regular improvement and innovation in student support and services.
